As the writer member of the art collective Everyone Agrees, I have co-authored two novels: The Meeting of Failures: Act I, featuring a group of friends on the fringes of the east London art and fashion worlds; and After the Night, the second part of a never-completed ‘Failures’ trilogy. This project also resulted in group exhibitions at Castillo/Corrales, Paris; and SPACE studios, London. I have also authored hybrid texts for musicians and arts festivals – such sui generis projects often touching on my practice as a literary translator.

Endless Express
Brussels: Europalia, 2021–2022
I authored a 136-page psycho-geographic-novella-in-lieu-of-an-art-catalogue for biennial arts festival Europalia. Inspired by W.G. Sebald, the text investigated the dark histories buried beneath Belgium’s longest railway line, thrown into relief by site-specific contemporary artworks.
After the Night
London: Book Works, 2021 [2013]
After The Night is about London in 2013. Or, more accurately, certain quarters in the east: Hoxton, Shoreditch, De Beauvoir, Dalston. Or perhaps it’s simply a joke: even more of a joke than La Nuit, the novel it is based on. If so, it may be one that comes at the expense of its protagonists.
